What it does

See when you ran and how your distance changed.

Version 1.6.1 is available on the App Store with the menu, heatmap settings, and updated sharing screens shown below.

Use the menu to import or refresh running records. Customize heatmap colors and distance thresholds, and apply the same settings to your shared cards.

Submitted version 1.6.2 adds Send Feedback in the menu and shake-to-attach screen captures. Review your text and images before sending. The feature will be available after review and release.

Yearly heatmap

Review a full year at a glance. After an Apple Health sync, return to RunHeat to refresh the available years and current heatmap automatically.

Session details

Tap a date to check session-level distance, pace, start time, and data source without leaving the heatmap.

Shareable snapshots

Create clean yearly, monthly, and weekly heatmap cards for sharing your running progress.

Strava & Garmin import

Import running records from supported Bulk Export zip files. Overlapping runs are merged to avoid duplicate totals.

Privacy

Focused access to running workouts.

RunHeat requests read-only access to workout records from Apple Health and uses running workouts only. Imported Strava and Garmin records stay in local storage on your device, are not written to Apple Health, and are not sent to an external server.

Health data permissions are managed by iOS, and you can change access at any time in the Health app or Settings.
